Blackberry Capsheaf Kölsch

Blackberry Capsheaf Kölsch

We took our flagship Kölsch recipe and put a seasonal spin on it: gobs of blackberries from just up the road were added to make this special edition a fantastic late-Summer treat.

Stammtisch Strawberry Hefeweizen

Stammtisch Strawberry Hefeweizen

Stammtisch is a cool word–as the affable Rick Steves notes, “A good goal for a traveler is to be invited to the Stammtisch — the table you’ll find in most German bars and restaurants reserved for family, staff, and regulars.” We’re pretty sure most tables in Hillsborough qualify.

Basil Pepper Pale Ale

We took our Lawless Fury Pepper Pale Ale–pale ale brewed with local honey, jalapeño and cayenne peppers–and added some fresh lemon basil from up the road!

Blueberry Sandy Creek Saison

We took our Spring/Summer staple–Sandy Creek Saison–and punched it up with fresh blueberries from Cedar Grove Farm just up the road. It’s sweet, it’s tart, and spicy just like we like our Saison–with an awesome purple color, to boot!  Grab it before it’s gone.

Stackyard Stout

Stackyard Stout

A Winter staple, our Stackyard Stout combines the roasty flavors of our Black I.P.A. balanced with a slightly heavier body that’s perfect for the fireside.

Lawless Fury Pepper Pale Ale

Lawless Fury Pepper Pale Ale

We named this beer after the “lawless fury” of the Regulators that plagued Governor Tryon in Hillsborough in 1770; this pale ale brewed with jalapeño and cayenne peppers and local honey brings delicious heat.

Sandy Creek Saison

Sandy Creek Saison

Grab a pint of this beautifully balanced farmhouse ale and head out into the great wide open–scratch that, you probably have an open bar tab. Stay put and imagine sitting in a [field/meadow/shady glen] with your [best friends/loyal hound/pet unicorn] while the warmth of the afternoon sun filters through [dandelion seeds/an oak tree canopy/puffy clouds] to kiss your smiling, upturned face (but not your beer, because that’s still the perfect temperature.) With me? That’s what this beer is about.

Barleybreak Black I.P.A.

Barleybreak Black I.P.A.

A slightly roasty, lightly toasty dark ale that’s anything but heavy: plenty of hop character shines through this Winter/Spring favorite.

Riverwalk Rye Pale Ale

Riverwalk Rye Pale Ale

We tweaked our original crowdsourced recipe for new ingredients with an eye toward maintaining the same toasty rye flavor and crisp hop character of our Kickstarter Rye. First brewed in honor of Hillsborough’s River Park Concert, we plan to keep this crowd-pleaser in our rotation.
